The Social Security System (SSS) is implementing a two-phase online registration for members in assuring a more accurate information of members to prevent failed registration or non-receipt of registration on email.
Phase 1 requires the members in providing basic information like SS number, name, date of birth and your email address. Upon filing and submission of the said info, these will be verified with your SSS records. If info submitted is correct, a message will appear and an email will be sent to your email address. The email sent will instruct you to click a link and continue with the registration.
Phase 2 will as you to provide more information of like address, your mother's maiden name, contact number and you be provided with a user id and password. Additional basic information also includes your employer's SSS number (if employed. Also for household help) or the Receipt No./Over-the-Counter (OTC) transaction number (for OFW and self-employed members only). If registration is accepted, you will receive an email to your email address with your user ID and password. All emails will inform you if your registration is a success or a failure and will advise you to call 9206401 loc 6201 or email at member_assistance@sss.gov.ph for more assistance.
